“ It was pretty quiet and not full when I went so you would sit anywhere. You could choose from a lot of different food options or sit and edit and work in the quiet atmosphere. Definitely will be trying the other restaurants in there when I return. ”
“ This is an update from my last post about Lyric Market. I really can’t say enough about the different food choices at this establishment. There truly is something for everyone, from Mexican to American and Vegan options. Today I selected Mama’s BBQ, which was a great option. The wait time was short, the food was not and it was delicious! ”
“ Cool food hall with a little something for everybody. We hit 3 of the spots. The Mediterranean one, the waffle one, and the New Orleans one. All three were fire. Quick service, fresh and delicious, and as weird as it sounds the water from the tap handle by the trash cans was so cold and delicious! Parking is free if you’re under two hours, and you have to get the receipt from one of the restaurants to validate. ”
“ If you want great drinks and conversation then come here on Sunday! Ivan is the best and his drinks are amazing! literally, the Best French 75 I’ve had in a while! ”
“ I really enjoyed my visit to Lyric Market. I loved that there was a variety of food choices and it wasn’t overcrowded. It was the perfect walking distance from Jones Hall! I highly recommend this establishment and would definitely visit again to try the other food options! ”
“ Definitely a hidden gem in Houston! Very nice, classy lounge with several food vendors. A must visit if your in town or want a chill spot to grab breakfast, lunch, bring or dinner. Great happy hour specials! ”
“ Nice to have this area. Great to grab a quick bite by parking garage on the way to a concert. Would never purposely go here, otherwise. The bar was definitely the place to be—it was packed! Handful of pop-up type restaurants. Some selections—po boys, sushi, barbecue, burgers, health food, hot chicken... Not sure if all have their own brick and mortar—or if this is its only location. Mama’s bbq was pretty good. They have a full restaurant on I-10. Loved their sausage. Good brisket. I didn’t like their mac and cheese—I asked them what they used and they said various cheeses. For me, it was also a texture thing. Some cheese didn’t properly melt down and was weird. ”
“ Loved visiting Lyric Market, great food options, we visited Press Waffle. We tried their chicken and waffles and the blackberry cobbler, both were very delicious and packed with a lot of flavor. Staff was really nice and helpful. And they also sell all Starbucks drinks! Great lovely ambiance, will be back again! ”
